The Society of International Chinese in Educational Technology (SICET) is a nonpolitical, non-profit academic organization. The organization's goal is to aggregate international Chinese scholars and experts in the field of educational technology to encourage academic cooperation and support among members. The mission of SICET is to establish and strengthen academic international connections, exchanges, research, and studies in educational technology for teaching and learning, as well as to promote the application of educational technology in Chinese education.
EITT 2018 Report
On December 12, 2018, the Seventh International Conference of Educational Innovation through Technology (EITT 2018) successfully held in Auckland, New Zealand. Professor Kerry Taylor, Head of School of Humanities and of the WHOliver Humanities Academy at Massey University given the welcome speech, Chaired by Dr. Micheal Li. Three Keynotes were presented by Professor CynthiaWhite from Massey University, RayYueh-Min Huang from Cheng Kung University, Associate Professor Xibin Han from TsinghuaUniversity and Associate Professor Yuping Wang from Griffith University. 70scholars and graduate students from 6 different countries and regions around the world attended the conference to present their research findings in the area of technology in education. 51 papers were published through IEEE CPS. These will be included in IEEE Computer Society Digital Library (CSDL) and Xplore digital libraries, and upon acceptance, submitted for indexing in EI(Compendex).
