Editorial Process

IJTTL is an internationally double-blinded peer-reviewed journal with the following editorial process:

  1. Upon receiving a manuscript, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess whether it fits the journal’s scope and meets the basic submission requirements, such as formatting and originality. Manuscripts that pass this initial screening are forwarded for peer review, while those that do not are either rejected or returned to the author for necessary adjustments.
  2. Next, the manuscript undergoes a two-blinded peer review process, where it is sent to two qualified reviewers with expertise in the subject area. This ensures that neither the reviewers nor the authors are aware of each other’s identities. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field. They then provide detailed feedback and recommend one of the following outcomes: accept without revision, accept with minor revisions, major revisions required, or reject.
  3. After the peer review, the editorial team reviews the feedback from both reviewers and makes an initial decision. If the manuscript is rejected, the author is promptly notified and provided with feedback from the reviewers. If revisions are required, the author is given specific comments and a deadline for submitting the revised manuscript.
  4. The author then revises the manuscript, carefully addressing each of the reviewers’ comments. Along with the revised manuscript, the author submits a response letter detailing how each point was addressed. This revision process may be repeated if necessary, depending on the editorial team’s assessment of the changes made.
  5. Finally, the editorial team conducts a thorough review of the revised manuscript and the author’s response letter to ensure that all concerns have been addressed satisfactorily. A final decision is then made to either accept the manuscript for publication or reject it. If accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the publication stage.
