SICET@SITE 2025

About SICET

The Society of International Chinese in Educational Technology (SICET), pronounced [‘saiset’], is a nonpolitical, non-profit academic organization. The goal of this organization is to gather Chinese and scholars worldwide and global experts in the field of educational technology to promote academic collaboration and support among members. The mission of the SICET is to establish and strengthen international academic connections, exchanges, research, and scholarship among members in educational technology; advocate the application of technology in educational settings; and promote international collaboration of members and other scholars in the field. SICET was originally established in 2003 and is currently registered in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, located in the United States of America. SICET currently publishes two internationally peer-reviewed journals and hosts two annual conference events.

Introducing SICET@SITE, 2025

SICET and AACE will collaboratively launch the inaugural annual event of SICET@SITE, marking the beginning of an exciting partnership and academic exchange between the two organizations. For 2025, SICET@SITE will be held with SITE at the Universal Stella Nova Resort Orlando, Orlando, FL., March 17~21, 2025.

Submission and Publication

Authors are invited to submit to SICET@SITE during the submission period for SITE 2025, and authors whose presentations are accepted for SICET@SITE are invited to submit the full manuscript to be considered in a special issue of International Journal of Technology in Teaching and Learning (IJTTL) sponsored by SICET. This special issue along with the IJTTL will be indexed in the highly regarded AACE’s EdTech Lib. IJTTL as a peer-reviewed international journal is in its 20th year of publication and has established a solid foundation in publishing quality quantitative and qualitative research in the field of using technology in teaching and learning, and teacher education as well.

When submitting, please choose the topic “SICET@SITE”. Then you may select any other SITE topics as the second and third options for your topic.
